Time to Order Steer Tags

It is that time of year again to order state Steer and Heifer Validation Tags and UIN Numbers for the 2017-2018 Show Season. I have attached a copy of the order form on the link provided below. Order forms and money are due to me by thursday, April 20th. I have not set a validation date yet - I am waiting to see how many tags and need to meet with the other Ag Teachers to see what day will work the best. As soon as I get a date confirmed, I will get that information to everybody.

One major change is the cost per tag. The state raised the tag fee to $15.00 per tag - up from $10.00 in the past. I added an extra $1.00 per tag to help pay for expenses, such as validation equipment, sanitation materials, and the mailing fees.

If you have any questions, please contact the extension office at 512-393-2120.
