WHO WILL ATTEND:
All District 4-H Council officers plus representatives from each county. All participants must be at least 13 years of age by the date of the Leadership Lab. No graduating seniors who are ineligible to participate in 4-H for the 2016-2017 4-H year may attend. Current officers who are graduating are allowed to attend.
REGISTRATION:
Registration will be conducted on 4-H Connect May 2 - May 31, 2016. LATE REGISTRATION will be available from June 1- 2, 2016 ONLY so please plan ahead. We must abide by the 1:8 ratio for adult chaperones.
Districts 7 and 10 Council Teams have joined forces to create a Leadership-Lab experience you will never forget! This year’s Theme is
“Lighting the Fire Within”. The event will be held
June 22nd -24th at the one and only Texas 4-H Conference Center in Brownwood, Texas. Come and join other 4-Her’s from District 7 and 10 and enjoy three days and two nights of fun as we work together to build leadership skills and character necessary for success! There will be outstanding and innovative workshops & activities, instilling skills that you can take back to you counties. These include:

Service Learning
Challenge Course & More!
4-H members who are eligible according to their District by-laws can run for a District Office on their District Council. Each District is looking for a strong group of candidates to run and lead District 7 or District 10 for the 2016-2017 year! If you are interested in running for an office or learning how you can pursue this in the future, talk with you Country Extension Agent before it is too late. Applications for District 10 are due May 31, 2016.
