2019-2020 Hays County Livestock Show Queen Contest/Ambassador/Scholarship Applications

There will be a mandatory meeting this Sunday, September 8th 2pm at the Buda VoAg Building for all contestants to go over the application packet and process.  If for some reason you are unable to attend the meeting you need to contact Lexi Lugo before the meeting at 512-426-9292.

Michael Cariaga will be available at the meeting and offering to take headshot photos for anyone that would like to have them done since a photo is required with your application. If you would like yours done please just wear something nice to take the photo.

Applications are due Monday, September 16th, you can turn in at the Extension Office by 5pm that day or you can make arrangements to get them to Lexi Lugo.

Interviews will be conducted on Sunday, September 22nd.  If you work, you will need to make arrangement for the day off.

Time to order Broilers

Broiler orders are due October 4th to the Extension Office no later that 4:30 pm.  Broilers must be ordered in increments of 25 chicks up to a maximum of 75  chicks per exhibitor.  Something new, Houston and Austin Rodeo broilers will be ordered together.

Major Show Fall Heifer Validation Tags

Validation is October 19th at the Dripping Springs Ranch Park.
