Major Steer and Heifer Validation

We will be holding Steer and Heifer Validation on two different dates again this year. I do want to remind everyone of the new rule that animals must be state validated to show at the county show. If you have not already ordered your tags for your steers, please contact me ASAP so we can get you on the list and make accommodations to get your animal validated for this show year. 


The first one will be held on Saturday June 20th from 9-12 at the Cox's Ranch

The second one will be held on Saturday June 27th from 9-12 at the Krackau's Ranch

Families who show heifers do be aware that this is only the first validation of the year, so do not worry if you do not have a heifer yet as we will have another validation in October. This is a question I get every year so I thought I would go ahead an mention it now.

Seniors recognition

We would like to recognize graduating seniors by doing a slideshow and posting it on the County FB page. All graduating seniors can email Kate.blankenship@ag.tamu.edu or post photos to this link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1xO7-UmIEqZFmLYdJ__hwt55JaJWisHqt

Email or Upload 5 photos of themselves that they want in the slideshow. These photos can be from when they were young to photos now.Just thought it would be a fun idea to do this since this COVID-19 stuff has put a damper on all the Senior events!!
