It is that time of year to start doing Turkey Orders for the 2022-2023 show year. If you plan on showing turkeys at the county or major shows this upcoming show season be sure to have the form into the office by July 7th by 5:00PM. You can print off the form with the link below. Prices did go up this year with Texas A&M and will be shown on the form as well.

2022 Broiler order form

 Hays County 4-H and FFA Broiler Order form:

Order Deadline:                

Friday, September 23, 2022 (Order must physically be in the office by 4:30 pm.  NO late orders will be accepted.  NO refunds.)

Broilers must be ordered in increments of 25 chicks up to a maximum of 75 chicks per exhibitor.                 No Cash will be accepted for orders.

State Fair/Heart of Texas swine validation 2022

 State Fair/Heart of Texas Swine Validation Tag Orders:

• Orders are due on Monday, April 25th. 
• Cost per tag: $17.00
• Tag orders received after April 25th will cost $20.00
• Validation date will be set after all orders are in. Usually around steer validation.
• Registration papers for purebred gilts MUST be uploaded by July 15th, 2022 by supervising extension agents or Ag teachers.
• Validation MUST occur by June 30th, 2022
• Date of ownership, transfer, and registration MUST be completed before June 30th.
• REMINDERS: All swine showing at State/HOT fairs MUST have a validation tag placed in the ear of the pig before entering the holding pens.
